Fertility

Fertility is defined as the body’s ability to produce offspring, but fertility is really so much more than that. There are so many different factors that affect both male and female fertility, it would be impossible to fit them all into this post. How “fertile” someone is depends on many, many factors, from what you eat, to where you live, your body makeup, your medical history, even how you feel and your emotional state. These factors all factor in to determine your fertility and just how likely you are to be able to have a baby. Claim Your 20 Free Pregnancy Tests – Click Here

Female fertility rate

Women reach their peak fertility early in life, during their late teens or early twenties. Women are born with a certain number of eggs, and each month that goes by, the number of remaining eggs becomes fewer and fewer. So, for women, after they pass their early twenties, they are constantly becoming less fertile, since they are using up their egg supply.

Age & fertility

A woman’s fertility drops after age 30, and even more dramatically after age 35. After age 40, it is usually much more difficult for a woman to get pregnant on her own without fertility treatments. A male, on the other hand, is the most fertile between the ages of 22-32.

Fertility treatment

Some women are able to get pregnant easily, with no trouble at all. Other women will need some help from fertility medication or other alternative means. Even other women will never be able to conceive a child of their own. Fertility varies so wildly between women, and there is really no way to tell how fertile or infertile a woman (or man!) will be until they decide to have a baby and try to get pregnant. However, with all of technological advances in fertility medicine today, there are options available for all couples, and it is rare that a couple does not find a fertility treatment method that works for them.

Secondary infertility

The bottom line here is that everyone’s fertility is vastly different. Your own personal fertility can even change over time. It might be easy for you to have your first baby but nearly impossible to conceive a second.

The bottom line

You just never know until you get into the situation, and there is no way to tell how your story is going to go. You should not worry however, since there are so many options out there today. Even if you do end up having fertility issues, you and your doctor can work together to find the option that is right for you and can make your dreams come true.
